It's 3am and I've seen a lot of hate about blitz for some reason so here's a little rumble about why I love him so much 💕🧵 He is one of the most complex characters i've seen, and seeing him being labeled as a simple 'douche' or a stand in for toxic masculinity hurts me...

you guys ever in awe over how inspiring blitz is for always pushing forward despite how life has treated him so far? that stubborn lizard hates himsef but is never willing to give up and conform, proof being the very existence of i.m.p. he's such a fighter. i admire him so much.

Blitz is so inspiring. An imp, at the bottom of society, going against the rules and becoming a CEO of his own company. Then finding more people in need to join him...I love him so much.

im glad that viv chose to make blitz the main character because he's such a unique one, i've never seen one written like him or portrayed, i love that he's a complex, traumatized character, i love that we see how he makes other people's lives better, it just means a lot to me

once blitz loves you, it’s game over. you’re a part of him for life, and he’ll go to any lengths to protect you. you’re his family. that’s what i love about him finding m&m, loona, stolas, and (later) via. he’s going to continue to choose them, and they’ll have his back always

blitz is such a funny character in retrospect like he really is just Some Guy working a 9-5 casually turning up with hell’s most famous jester and popstar, goetian royalty, the deadly sins of lust and gluttony, AND the princess of hell herself 😭😭 how the fuck did we get here

i think people really do miss the nuances of blitz's characterizations so much bc he diverts intimacy into control and hides his emotions until no one is looking
