The reality of shared owners in a building like this is having to spend hours of your time trying to extract information from parties that do not talk to each other. Then usually finding out important news from private leaseholders on the building's WhatsApp group.

'Brick by Brick built the property and deals with some maintenance issues, residents also have to interact with Principle Estate Management and Metropolitan Thames Valley. (...) the standard of communication received from these parties is not acceptable'

My block has been remediated and now has an A1 certificate, yet Salford City Council refuse to accept their role in the development of a defective block. Until they do I am still trapped. It’s not right to shout about housing concerns without dealing with issues you played a part in.

An ‘innovative’ step to free up some flats on the bottom rung of the housing ladder would be for Salford City Council to respond to requests for details which would allow Landlord Certificates to be signed off. My head lessee has written to SC on multiple occasions and been ignored.

The sobering reality for millions of leaseholders in the country today, thanks to the government & Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities created #BuildingSafetyCrisis , & politicians putting donations from freeholders & the construction industry over leasehold reform.
