Well done to our first Simpson Star of 2023 for putting in a special effort with her writing 😊✨ well done!

Our Simpson Star last week went to a fabulous learner who has been trying really hard and making fantastic progress. Well done 🤩

We listened to the Jeely Piece song last week and it has been highly requested ever since! We had a go at making our own, wrapping them up and taking them home. No throwing out the window involved!! 😁

Today we teamed up with P2C to have a go at some Scottish dancing. What fantastic dancers we have in P2 🤩

We have been experimenting with measuring today. We explored different classroom objects and decided if they were lighter or heavier!

This Simpson Star showed real enthusiasm towards her learning and completed an excellent piece of writing. She worked so hard and found learning fun 🤩

We have been so busy in P2B this week! We had a look at some non-fiction texts and practiced doing some paired reading, taking turns to read and helping our partner with any tricky parts! #ReadSPS

World Thinking Day 🥰

We worked hard in PE this week, focusing on different muscles and listening to our heart when we worked extra hard! 💪🏻

There’s nothing better for a teacher than seeing a class full of enthusiasm for their learning! This week I worked with lots of excited children learning about doubles! We played Bingo and played a connect 4 game in pairs! Such a proud teacher! 🤩

Our Simpson Star this week was making a huge effort to follow instructions and display our school values. Well done 🤩

Our Design a Door competition entry for World Book Day! We loved reading Matilda and discussed some of the adjectives we would use to describe the Chokey 😖
