december, detach me from any dead roots and plant me in energy that breathes life into my intentions, unbind me from expired versions of myself and allow me to hold hands with growth. may i recognize what compromises my authenticity so i never fall out of alignment with my truth.

the "people pleaser" label is misleading because you can’t sustain a life rooted in constant denial of your needs and desires. you will burn out. you might please people in the moment, but when you inevitably run out of capacity, the people won’t be pleased—and neither will you.

Bless the departures. Bless the endings. Bless the conclusions. Bless the experience. Bless the pivot. Bless the transition. Bless the recovery. Bless yourself all the way through.

Best thing you can do for yourself next year is learn to let people go early. Let them go once you see the red flags, let them go once you know you both don’t align, let them go once you no longer have your peace with them around. Let people go. It will hurt, but it will save you
