Visiting a friend's college, I popped into the loos and saw this when I shut the door. And you know what? It cheered me up. 😊

TFW you're in the path of #Eclipse2024 but there's total cloud cover so you're watching it stream in the science department of your friend's college but you're desperate to wear the glasses.

Fun Fact : the root of eclipse is two ancient Greek words, ἐκ (out of) and λείπω (I leave) which together made ἐκλείπω (I disappear or abandon). This was the verb used to describe the sun or moon when it vanished. The noun - ἔκλειψις - came into English via Latin and French.
