Yesterday we were delighted to receive a visit from Paralympic athlete Antony Cotterill. He led an inspirational whole school assembly & then put each year group through their paces in some circuit drills,which definitely tested his motto “Don’t give up!” #ambition #collaboration

The stage is set, last rehearsals are done… we are ready for tomorrow’s Lord Street’s Got Talent Grand Final!!!

What a glorious day we have had for our Lord Street’s Got Talent Final & the finalists were shining just as brightly as the sun! We enjoyed a variety of acts including singers,gymnasts,musicians & dancers and the standard was incredibly high. Well done to everyone who took part!

The judges couldn’t decide on a top 3 so picked a top 5 instead!

As the judges deliberated their final decision we were treated to a half time show from 2 cheeky clowns!

We were also delighted to welcome back last year’s winners Emily & Avery-Grace singing a duet from Wicked 🩷💚

Year 5 ticked off another pupil passport activity today as they voted for our new head boy & girl! Students were asked to write an expression of interest for the role last week & today shortlisted candidates gave a speech to their peers before the polling booths were opened.

Earlier today the whole school watched the Year 6 leavers play. We loved it and are incredibly proud of how hard they’ve all worked & how brave they all were up on that stage. We hope all the parents & families that came to see it yesterday &/or tonight enjoyed it too. #ambition
