Second grade Loomis students learned about the life cycle of a butterfly, their habitats, migration, and many more important facts. 🦋 Together with their teachers, Loomis second grade students watched as caterpillars went into their chrysalis and emerged as beautiful butterflies

After reading Winter’s Tail, Loomis 3rd graders became biomedical engineers with Ms. Tuna! They designed a prosthesis for a wind-up bath toy turtle missing its flipper by using their knowledge of the animal's structures & functions with a limited budget to purchase supplies. 🐢

Loomis 5th grade students learned how magnets repel and attract. They created cardboard cars and raced them using only magnets to make them propel forward. 🚗 🧲 🚙
