Located on an island in the River Suir, Cahir Castle is an impressive sight in Cahir town centre and is one of the largest and best preserved castles in Ireland. It became the stronghold of the Butler family in 1375 and remained in their possession until 1961. #VisitTipp

Beautiful day yesterday for the final press of the season - this year didn’t have the same sugar boost as last year due to our shabby July, but produced some really interesting phenolics throughout. Looking forward to what comes next….over to you wild yeasts! 🍎🍐

We import 90% of our eating apples. That needs to change. Super visit to Teagasc Oak Park today - 2,700 apple trees, 48 varieties, different management systems - supporting the Irish apple sector, so we can displace imports. Buy #Irish #Apples to Support Irish Growers. 🍎🇮🇪🍎
