My 16m old has recently started screeching “YESSSSSS!” at me anytime I try to redirect him or challenge his attempts at inevitable misadventures.

So I say “no buddy” - he screams “YESSSSS!” and continues merrily doing what he wants.

Honestly, a full time job would be easier.

Major props to Leeds Children's Hospital for having a great waiting area for a toddler who is bored waiting for his daddy to finish work 😂

Mike Taylor was so outraged at being told that he shouldn’t prescribe drugs off licence because of the “legality” of it - according to someone’s prescribing CPD that he used the term “Keppra” - this has possibly never happened before.

Is he having a stroke? 🤣

Sunny Bank Holiday and I’m stuck indoors with a poorly pyrexic baba who is a delightful ball of snot and sadness. But those wee fingers and toes? 🥰🥰🥰🥰 I’m just glad that I get to be here for him when he needs the extra snuggles.

On #InternationalDayOfTheMidwife2024 I think of my midwife Debbie who held my hand through a high risk pregnancy, a NICU stay & a challenging start to parenthood-I tell everyone just how wonderful the Diabetes Midwives in Leeds Teaching Hospitals are,but she’s the very best of them ❤️❤️
