Three generations; grandmother, mother and daughter. From my family photoshoot on Sunday at Chiswick House. A one hour shoot, loads of photos they love and lots of laughs.

A large boatyard here that I always love to see. Not many like this left. Yesterday, there was sunshine and those beautiful warm rays poured from the clouds onto the cobbled street below. Today, only rain is again pouring from the clouds.

A wander around Brentford. I love the industrial feel when you walk by the canal here. A random collection of things that are working and that used to work, once upon a time. Sometimes it’s good not to have everything looking perfect and polished.

A wander around Brentford. That enormous building in the background used to be where the barges were loaded with all sorts of materials for transport on the canals from Brentford to Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool and many other places.

A wander around Brentford yesterday. Used to be the most amazing classic cars here. Duke London. Closed down very recently, but they still seem to have a garage and building housing interesting things.

Another from my family photoshoot on Sunday at Chiswick House. A one hour shoot and so many that I like (and more importantly, that my client loves), but some images stand out. I just love the relaxed feel with Mum and daughter. Of course, it takes work to make a shoot relaxed.

Blimey. Sat here at home on my boat, heard a train whistle; you know the wonderful old fashioned train whistles, popped my head out to see the Orient Express going past. Wonderful.

Had a great family photoshoot with this lady, her mother and daughter, at the weekend at Chiswick House. Was so lucky with the weather. Rain just before they arrived and then perfect sunlight for the hour we were photographing. A lot of my job, is making people feel relaxed.

Ok. Hands up who wants to see the biggest t**t on here? Just been sent this. Me, aged about 11, with my Euphonium. I’ll probably delete this in a minute.

Mornin’. A wander round the backside of Brentford.

Wapping, opposite the Prospect of Whitby. A wonderful former pumping station, now being allowed to crumble. Once it’s crumbled beyond repair, it’ll be worth a fortune as a building plot for luxury flats.
