A Diet Pepsi (sorry, we don’t have Coke, it’s Pepsi. Is that ok?) and a look at the staircase. Having paid £5.63 including 12.5% service charge, I thought I’d get my money’s worth by treating my eyes to the sight of this beautiful staircase this morning.

An enjoyable photoshoot today. An opera singer. Always great meeting such a wide range of different people. Over 700 photos downloaded and time to sort and to edit. In the meantime, a most picturesque bar.

And now, time for tea. Cooked with my own fair hands and no, that Canada goose ain’t getting any.

Sat on deck watching the world go by. I bought that wine from my local supermarket. They nearly died of shock that I didn’t just walk out with it like their regular visitors do.

Mornin’. Another day, another strawberry, grown on my roofgarden and picked with my own fair hands. Getting Friday off to a tasty start.

Just in Heal’s on Tottenham Court Road now. Have I been in a coma for a hundred years and just woken up? Since when was an armchair £5365? And not just that armchair. They’re all insane prices. And the lamps, the plates, the tables and everything has an extra nought on the end.

Cycling home from central London and very nearly made it home, but then this pub forced me to come in for a drink. It happens to be one of my favourite pubs, so I’ll admit that I didn’t put up that much of a fight.

Sat in a pub right now (strange but true) and there’s a sign on the wall with ‘beer’ in different languages. Most have the correct English pronunciation, but two languages and I don’t know which languages they are, were obviously pissed when they gave their word for beer.

Went into Heal’s on Tottenham Court Road yesterday and although I couldn’t afford an armchair there, I did get to admire their beautiful staircase for free.

Having breakfast in St Pancras Wetherspoons right now and there are lots and lots of blokes in red and white striped football shirts downing their pints and eating their full English breakfasts. I’m not entirely convinced by their physique, that they play much football.

Give it a few hours and this whole area of King’s Cross will be buzzing with people having fun. Kids playing in the granary square fountains, people sat on the steps by the canal enjoying music and the sights. Happiness and all for free. I’m amazed they haven’t banned it.
