I had tix for P!nk in Vancouver last Oct. Got sick & had to cancel (then she got sick & postponed the show). Got tix for tonight in edmonton, but my dad’s in the hospital & one of my girls is having health issues so I had to miss it 😩😩. Hopefully one day I’ll get to see her!

I am always a ‘wait your turn, hold the door for the person behind you’ kind of person until it comes to getting to the front door of the walk-in medical clinic. Then it’s every person for themselves. I’m going to park and sprint.

Despite best efforts I was unable to get tickets to The Eras Tour. However yesterday my 9yo made me these awesome earrings, with each colour representing an era, and you’d better believe I’m wearing them to work today 😍

One daughter is currently yelling at the other daughter for ‘hiccuping weirdly’ and is so irritated and angry that she can’t just stop having the hiccups.

Me justifying putting my suitcase back in my closet with some toiletry items still packed in it that I’m too lazy to put away: I’ll probably be happy when I open it for my next trip and these things are already packed!

At my 15yo’s urging I’ve been wearing my hair with a centre part. I asked her this morning if she’d noticed. She said ‘yeah! And it looks…super awkward. U understand now why you always went with the side part’.

I thought this was-40° day would be a good time to teach my 9yo how to play crib. Unfortunately she declared the way you move the pegs stupid and refused to play beyond the first hand.

Unsure if my husband doesn’t know there’s a little goat in our basement bathroom, or if he’s just choosing to ignore. Either way, he hasn’t said a word about it and for that I’m thankful.

Despite it being in the low -30°s the past couple weeks, the hens are noticing the longer days!

My 9yo just came out of her bedroom, got a cloth out of the kitchen drawer, wet it, said ‘don’t worry, I didn’t spill anything in my bed’ and walked into her bedroom with the cloth. I’m so relieved she didn’t spill anything in her bed.

I used to change in the main floor bathroom, leave my bag there, go for a quick run outside, and change back. Then one time I got back and the police had the bathroom closed off. Someone had seen my bag and reported a suspicious, unattended package 😬

My 10yo thinks pep rallies are called ‘pepper alleys’, like ‘we had a pepper alley at school today!’ And with how fast everyone is growing up I won’t be correcting her anytime soon.

I feel like this book should be a little thicker.

I’m old enough that I remember a teacher bringing this in to our classroom so we could watch the #BlueJays play in the World Series last time they were there.

Left the snow behind in Saskatchewan for a few days. Life is good!
