Hiring a tax professional to file your tax return does not shield you from getting convicted of tax fraud. It's our job to sniff out anything that shouldn't/should be on the tax return. And if you intentionally lie to us or hide things... You're probably worse off.

How are y'all feeling about the 9/15 deadline?

A lot of firms would benefit if they tested their pricing. Raise prices until demand slows down and then dial it back. My 1040 minimum has gone from $400 - $1,500 because the level of demand is still there.

I have been against buying a book of business because many clients leave, and it's so easy to get new clients. But I just calculated my ROI on the clients I bought in 2020... 700% ROI And 40% of the clients I bought have left.
