Quite an elegant solution to the obvious problems of using pictures of real children on a report that would obviously draw attention from some the worst interlocutors on the internet, and even contained reference to the toxicity of the debate, don't you think?

Evidently not.

So much commentary on the Cass review assumes victory over extremist gender theory.
But I fear Dr Cass’s recommendations won’t be implemented until we root out ideological capture in our public institutions and political parties like Labour and the SNP 👇 thetimes.co.uk/article/gaggin…

Yvette Cooper says the police should focus on facts, not 'gossip'. The neighbours are not gossips, they're police witnesses now.

When somebody starts talking about 'empty homes' in a British context, you can reasonably deduce that they have no clue what they're talking about.
There are no empty homes in Britain. It's a NIMBY excuse, and nothing else.

What I find maddening about the crutch of 'we should be *affordable* homes' is that the reason a special category of subsidised homes are required is because... there's not enough homes, which pushes house prices up!

Building more homes makes homes cheaper.

Reforming planning makes homes cheaper.

Reforming building codes makes homes cheaper.

Insisting everything built must be to the highest eco-spec and neither next to anyone or in a green field; not so much.

This is a NIMBY argument disguised as left wing. Yes you can do more to tackle oligarchs buying up homes and leaving them empty but that is a drop in the ocean. Until you increase supply there will be a housing crisis.

Have you noticed the 'ceasefire now' people celebrating Iran's attack on Israel?

They never wanted a ceasefire; they wanted an Islamist victory.

Kemi Badenoch is absolutely right. “It has become almost impossible to question fashionable theories if they are promoted under the banner of progressivism or social justice. Dissent is treated as evidence of bad faith, bigotry or a lack of intellectual sophistication.”…

Switzerland's largest political party calls for it to quit the ECHR on the back of the ridiculous climate change ruling.

The ECHR's monstrous overreach in this case could be starting a significant backlash against these unelected Strasbourg meddlers.

Great to be quoted in the Telegraph today.

20 mph limits cause havoc where I live and I wanted to know how much they are costing London’s economy.

I submitted a series Freedom of Information request and was shocked to learn councils have no idea what economic impact they have
