#OnThisDay #9April 1806, Isambard Kingdom Brunel was born. Brunel designed the Royal Albert Bridge. This bridge uses the lenticular truss design, similar to George Stephenson's earlier designed Gaunless Bridge from West Auckland. The Gaunless Bridge can now be seen at Locomotion.
