Lone Conservative is a great publication and will be missed! I'm grateful I had the opportunity to write for them as a student in high school and college.

I have so many fond memories from my time with Lone Conservative. LoCo was a tight-knit community that empowered liberty-minded students like me. I grew as a writer, made new friends, and really felt like a part of the LoCo family. Thank you Kassy Akiva!

I joined Lone Conservative when I was 17, and it was such an important part of my college experience as a young conservative. Forever grateful for Kassy Akiva for creating such a great group that helped so many of us get to where we are today! ❤️

LoCo gave me a place to publish when I had no idea where to, a place to try my editorial skills out, and an intellectual home. Today is a sad day.

The end of a great outlet (one that published my first op-ed back in 2021). Shoutout to the crew, most notably Kassy Akiva and Dace Potas for building and maintaining something great. Mad respect all round. 🔥

Lone Conservative has had a massive impact on my life, and I would be nowhere if they didn’t publish my first article when I had zero experience. Very sad for this chapter to end, but excited to see all we do in the future.

My first published article was with LoCo back in 2017, and I’ve made some lifetime friends through this organization. Sad to see the shutdown but proud of the mark that was made.

I'll always be grateful to have been part of Lone Conservative. It's where I started writing about pro-life topics and other issues. I met wonderful people and even traveled to Israel with some of them. Thank you, Kassy Akiva, for blessing us with such an amazing opportunity!

LoCo was a beacon for students like me who felt isolated & wanted to help improve the conservative movement in the 2010s. It’s also where I met my closest friends ♥️ The movement is in a different place now, in part, because of our alumni. I’m forever grateful to Kassy Akiva

I’ll also say — the conservative movement was different pre-Trump. Owning the libs was the priority & ‘old guard’ didn’t care that the admin at your college would harass & try to expel you for lukewarm GOP takes. Things are different now. We are in revival mode, not rebellion.
