I'm on a very compassionate and caring team Women and Gender Equality Canada. Everyone helps to create a safe space for sharing. When racist events against BIPOC happened, when 215 and then 751 Indigenous children's graves were discovered, the team gathered to share and care for each other's emotions.

This is not my first time listening to Indigenous people telling residential school stories, but every time was a shocking time. Everyone's story was different but always powerful. I appreciate their courage to dig through the most hurtful memories to share with us. #TRC
