Remembrance in this town is a big deal, which is unsurprising given the naval legacy of Plymouth. Beyond proud that my daughter and her best friend laid one of the wreaths yesterday - to see them, and other young people, take part with such dignity and respect was incredible.

Our last hymn this morning was led by a 5 year old and a 3 year old with streamers. Not going to lie, best thing ever.

Nearly time for our ecumenical service on gender based violence with Diocese of Plymouth - such a privilege to work together on such an important issue! This year we have some young people speaking- couldn’t be more proud of their courage.

Tonight is our annual 16 days service - possibly my very favourite thing I do all year. So proud that our speakers this year are young survivors - takes such utter courage I can’t even imagine.

So proud to be hosting an event for Transforming Plymouth Together on gender based violence later today. I remember as a survivor sitting in church and wondering why I never heard people like me talking. To have the opportunity to open those conversations for others is such a privilege.

I mean this woman has always been a queen, but now it's definitely confirmed.

In two weeks the bishop is coming to baptise and confirm two young men who felt the need to return to church, walked in lowering the average age by about half, and were just loved so hard they saw Jesus in it all. I couldn't be more proud of the community I get to serve.
