Huge vote today could put NJ on track to #StopSolitary. When Christie vetoed the bill in 2016, he said solitary doesn't happen here. Survivors have shared their stories and no one—not legislators, not Governor Phil Murphy—can hide behind that lie anymore. Time to #EndTorture!

The only way to stop police from shooting and killing Black people is to stop contact between them. The only way to do that is to shrink the size and scope of policing. There is no “justice” after the shooting. The conditions aren’t just

In NJ, if you're convicted of a felony, you're barred from serving on any jury, civil or criminal, for LIFE. Thanks to worst-in-the-nation racial disparities in incarceration, which this policy perpetuates, ~1/4 of all Black NJ adults are kept off juries. Shockingly unjust.
