I am seeing a lot of posts that say ‘blame the lawyers’ re the misapplication of the law on single sex spaces post the For Women Scotland judgment. It’s not all lawyers. Many of us know the law we just don’t happen to be the ones advising the organisations getting it so wrong.

My court case has been resolved! I’m so happy to share that women in Brighton & Hove now have the option of single sex rape crisis therapy. This will be run by Survivors' Network with input from me and other women survivors (1/7)

I've had an 'X' hiatus over the last few months but felt the need to resurface. Keen to maintain engagement in the fight for women's fundamental rights and play my part where I can.

I stopped to get my bearings this eve. I was approached by a drunk male who was much bigger than me. He tried to engage me in conversation and 'help me with directions.' It was intimidating & I felt unsafe. It was 6pm. Women deserve to feel safe, it is a right, not a privilege.

As the Mum of a soon to be 11 year old I'm entering the shark infested waters of phones and social media. What a minefield. 1 week into the summer holidays and there is already 'WhatsApp bullying' in full force.

I think I have a shoe related problem.

I do love being mansplained on a Tuesday evening. The only female lawyer on a Teams call, the men clearly all knew each other. Definitely made to feel the outsider and that I wasn't in the loop. Not something I experience often but a horrible feeling.
