"A million deaths are a statistic"...until the number is so high that we start to know the gravely ill personally. Beginning to think tragedy follows an inverted U.

Grampa Joe what did you do during the pandemic? I fought against the scourge of women with PhDs calling themselves “Dr.” (silence) Grampa Joe, didn’t women with PhDs develop the vaccine that ended the pandemic?

Today is my husband's last "COVID wing" shift before he gets his first dose of vaccine tomorrow! The light is near - wear your masks and get 2 marshmallows come summer!

Brett Kavanaugh thinking youthful transgressions should follow you until you die in prison. I would laugh but it's not even a little bit funny

I think it says something really revealing about humanity that during the hardest year in most of our lives we bought plants & adopted pets & learned to bake bread. We're hardwired to nurture, to take care, to look outside of ourselves & sustain something else. Remember that.

My 6-year-old niece was just sent home from public school for wearing a top that shows her shoulders. The school, however, does not enforce mask mandates. That would be an infringement on parents' rights.

Huge congrats to Shigehiro Oishi and Erin Westgate for winning this year's #SPSPnews Wegner Theoretical Innovation Prize! Their work on the "psychologically rich life" is truly perspective-shifting. psycnet.apa.org/record/2021-74…

It’s great that The Wharton School is providing Joe with representation. UC Berkeley Haas and Esade should follow its lead. Correcting the scientific record is part of a social science professor’s work, not a hobby.

Fundamentally, it understands the Jewish people as a distinct group subject to national rights. The form most people gesture at is political Zionism, the movement that sought the creation of a legally recognized national home and ultimately a state for the Jews. 2/
