100% remote & I don’t plan on ever going back to an office (I started my own firm, in part, so that I don’t have to).

I have lots of opportunities to collaborate & connect without being in a physical space that isn’t conducive to me being particularly productive every day.

Thinking about that final exam in law school where I ended an essay with “I have more things to say here but I am out of time, I swear I’ve tried my best” and by god, if that isn’t a perpetual energy

I’ve said it before: law school either neutralizes you or radicalizes you. Their goal is the former - it makes you eminently more employable. And they get *really* annoyed if you opt for the latter.

I can’t even count the hundreds & hundreds of non-billable hours that I’ve done in my career. So many lawyers (often #WomenInLaw ) do so much non-billable work that goes unrecognized, unappreciated, & uncompensated.

It’s particularly noticeable & problematic at large law firms…
