Living Farm mid year staff day, a day of learning, team building and celebrating a great first half of 2025. Thanks also to our resident winemaker for finishing the day with an informative wine tasting highlighting Australian wines.

A great afternoon hearing from Wayne Pluske on fertiliser efficiency, followed by a visit to GRDC fertiliser response trial in grain legumes, showcasing phosphorus response. Some very visual early biomass differences.

Today we were out at GRDC West and Grower Group Alliance project sites in Piawanning, Dalwallinu and Perenjori, collecting data across several key legume trials. These sites are part of GRDC West broader investment into profitable, resilient cropping and legumes systems.

Tissue testing at our York GRDC West Fertilising Grain legumes site today. This trial is looking at the effects of Phosphorus fertiliser rates on chickpeas, lentils, lupins, vetch and field peas in P deficient soil. Great team work Leah, Shwatank and Erin!

Great to see lentils thriving in the WA wheatbelt! This trial is looking a treat. We’ve been working with lentil breeders and growers to evaluate traits and varieties over a number of years, and love seeing trial sites like this, clean, and gathering information for industry!

Fantastic to host a South American group of agronomists and researchers today. We visited some trials, our facilities and local farmers. Many shared challenges in the agronomy space. Fantastic questions! A pleasure to host!

Checking out this beautiful lentil breeding site with Agvic’s lentil enthusiasts Audrey, Jasmine and Ash. Curious to know about herbicide options, we have implemented our own herbicide tolerance trial at this site, great info coming from here and applicable to growers!
