The children’s challenge is to see how tall the sunflower can grow and to make sure they give the seed sunlight and water.

Happy Chinese New Year! 💌🇨🇳

This week we have been using our fine motor skills to create dragons and copy Chinese symbols. We have been lucky enough to have had our children share their experiences of Chinese New Year and how they celebrate with their friends and families.

‘The toys are frozen!’ 🧊 ❄️ 🧸

The children noticed that our Lego and bugs had frozen overnight. They have been using sticks and hammers to crack the ice and free the toys.

This week we have been exploring the concept of light and heavy. The children have been using the scales to see which items around the classroom are light and which are heavy.

The children have created Santa lists and posted them to the North Pole. We walked the children to the local postbox and explored the local community.
