Minister Arūnas Dulkys,together with Hans Kluge, regional Director WHO/Europe signed a support agreement for 🇱🇹 contribution to the closure of the European Office for the Prevention and Control of Noncommunicable Diseases in Moscow and its relocation to Copenhagen.
On Feb 6, Indian Ambassador Devesh Uttam 🇮🇳 visited Lithuania's ministry. Shared COVID19 crisis management, emphasized collaboration and health threat readiness. Discussed traditional medicine regulation and potential collaboration. Agreed to continue dialogue in the health sector.
🤝Yesterday, representatives of the Ministry met with Tamir Waser, Deputy Ambassador of U.S. Embassy Vilnius, to discuss the epidemiological situation of HIV infection in 🇱🇹, planned and ongoing HIV prevention and control activities and the importance of reducing stigma.
Minister Arūnas Dulkys and the Lithuanian delegation🇱🇹 are on a working visit in Singapore🇸🇬. They met with Singapore's Health Minister Ong Ye Kung and his delegation to discuss cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence, innovation, and the management of pandemics.
A delegation headed by the Minister Arūnas Dulkys, paid a working visit to #Ukraine. The delegation visited medical institutions in Ukraine and participated in a conference organised by Ministry of Health of Ukraine, which focused on international cooperation in the #health field.
"Through the International Medical Partnership, we share expertise with #Ukraine. These partnerships provide opportunities for healthcare workers. Also, it is about providing assistance to those affected by the war, both in 🇺🇦 itself and to refugees", says Arūnas Dulkys .
🇱🇹🤝🇱🇻On 11 July, the Minister of Health Arūnas Dulkys and Latvian Minister of Health Hossam Abu Meri, signed a renewed agreement on the provision of ambulance services in the border area. The agreement provides for mutual medical assistance in the event of mass disasters.
