Today in English we started looking our new book which is about dreams. We then wrote about our own dreams and made a prediction using the front cover what we thought the book would be about.

We’ve loved our inset day with Amble Links and King Edwin primaries Northumberland County Council today. And just 👀 at the writing produced and plants created as we explored how to #TeachThroughaText 🪴 🖊️

What a fab way to kick off the new half term - launching our Writing Roots with the wonderful Perivale Primary School team. We had such fun journeying through our resource for The Wilderness and writing creatively for a range of audiences and purposes. Literacy Tree

Finding the right book, for the right reader can be the key that unlocks a love for reading and literacy skills for life. We believe that *all* reading is valid. Comic books and graphic novels can be especially powerful for reluctant readers. #GrowAGenerationOfReaders
