Lisbon Baseball moves to 4-0 overall, 4-0 in TRC East with a 25-0, 15-0 sweep of North Cedar on Tues. The Lions were strong defensively, getting fine pitching efforts from Ethan Stone, Wesley Sadler and Carew Kamaus. Back at it tonight for JV/V at West Branch at 5:00. #5andaHalf


Lisbon Baseball drops a 4-3 decision Wednesday night on the road at West Branch. A very entertaining HS baseball game between two quality squads. JV wins 11-2 to open their season. Back at it tonight, JV/V at Mt. Vernon. JV begins at 5:00. #5andaHalf

Lisbon Baseball drops a hard fought game to Mount Vernon 7-4 at Ash Park in Mount Vernon. Very proud of the boys for their competitiveness tonight. Bryce Boots and Wesley Sadler did a great job keeping MV hitters off balance. Lions fall to 4-2 on the season. #5AndaHalf


Lisbon Baseball improves to 5-5 on the year with a 12-0 win over Springville at the Field of Dreams Movie Site. Great pitching efforts by Ian Whittenbaugh and Wesley Sadler, and an errorless game on defense. What a great crowd- thanks to all the Lisbon fans who made the trip!!!

Lisbon Baseball with the split Monday night vs Cal-Wheat, losing G1 6-2 and winning G2 4-2. Strong pitching in G2 by starter Carew Kamaus and reliever Dakota Clark, as well as errorless ball in the field keyed the Lions victory. Home JV/V against Don Bosco tonight at 5:00!

Lisbon Baseball improves to 7-7 on year with a 21-1 (4 inn.) victory at Edgewood-Colesburg. Proud of the boys for persevering through some weather. Ethan Stone and Wesley Sadler with a great job on the mound. A few days off before a busy week starting at Easton Valley next Monday!


Lisbon Baseball defeats Springville 12-0 to improve to 8-11 on the season. Carew Kamaus and Ian Whittenbaugh combine for the shutout, backed by errorless defense. Back at it to finish our suspended game against Midland today at 5:00.

Lisbon Baseball defeats Durant 12-4. Trailing 4-3 going into the 7th, the Lions erupt for 9 runs. Great offensive approach. Ian Whittenbaugh and Dakota Clark were great on the mound, and timely defense was key. Lions improve to 9-12 entering the final week of the regular season!

Lisbon Baseball wrapped up the regular season with a DH sweep (15-5, 13-8) over Monticello on Wed., July 2. Solid pitching efforts by Bryce Boots in G1 and Wesley Sadler and Elliott Moehlman in G2. Next up- District quarterfinal vs Midland, Monday night at 7:00 at Lisbon City Park.
