The only person in this recording I feel sorry for is the replay operator, he gave the correct information,alerted them to the error,tried to get them to the stop the game & they just said basically we can’t think outside the box as we are robots! Replay fella should be in charge

Surely if you are being interviewed for a referees job top of the list is good communicator & works well under pressure. I don’t think anyone in these tapes did either of those things, including the on pitch ref! He should be repeating what the VAR said to him to clarify! (1/2)
