After the joy of seeing the ever-fabulous Madeline Smith on BBC4’s recent re-screening of GOING FOR A SONG from 1976, it was a further delight to see, this evening, the majestic Charles Gray in the first of his two CALL MY BLUFF appearances from August 1976. #Hammer #Bond #Icons

RIP James Earl Jones, the voice of Darth Vader to several generations. The first time I ever saw him 'in the flesh' was as real-life alleged abductee Barney Hill in The UFO Incident (1975), a film that terrified the life out of me. He was absolutely magnificent, of course.

This is the moment when Trump left ZERO doubt that his mind is in a state of rapid deterioration: "In Springfield, they’re eating the dogs, the people that came in, they’re eating the cats, they’re eating the pets of the people that live there."
