In time for the Fetal, Infant, & Toddler Neuroimaging Group—FIT’NG event on 9/17, two new longitudinal papers from us. 1)ID rate and test-retest are low in infant connectivity tinyurl.com/sn5v7f66 @ajdneuro 2)Altered connectivity in older children with ASD is present by 9-months tinyurl.com/wdanbcv2 Max Rolison, MD

Is fMRI inference revealing the TIP OF THE ICEBERG? New and comprehensive work by Stephanie Noble (@sneuroble.bsky.social) & team evaluating different scales of inference for fMRI connectivity Trade-off between statistical power and localization specificity Well done Steph! Do you use cluster-level inference for fMRI research? 🧠🕵🏽👩🏽‍💻 “Leveling up” might help you make more powerful inferences 🦾 Some food for thought… biorxiv.org/content/10.110… Mandy Mejia, PhD Andrew Zalesky Dustin Scheinost

Planning on (or curious abt) working with large neuroimaging data? Here’s an intro to the nuts and bolts, including tips we wish we knew when we first got started 🦾 Nice work @coreyhorien & team!

1/5 Remember when Stephanie Noble (@sneuroble.bsky.social) went Super Saiyan? x.com/sNeuroble/stat… We made it edgier, addressing a question that arises from her cNBS work–how to pool edges? In our new work, we explore the use of edge-centric, rather than node-centric, networks. doi.org/10.1016/j.neur…
