.John Swinney warns that for the last few years, the UK Government’s response to Brexit has created a hostile approach to devolution. Prior to Brexit, it had never legislated in devolved areas without consent from the Scottish Parliament. It has now done so on 11 occasions.

Speaking at our event John Swinney says that amongst the legislative measures that have been taken forward by the Scottish Parliament, have been measures that the Westminster Parliament just simply never had the time or the space to get round to addressing. Eg major land reform.
