Our students along with Sharnbrook Academy completed their two-day immersive trust event yesterday at The Ferrers School which included activities such as Archery, Bushcraft, Fitness and Orientating.

Last Thursday, our Year 10 GCSE Drama students assisted in running a special drama workshop with Key Stage 2 students from Great Ouse Primary. To strengthen our links with the primary schools through the Performing Arts we are running more sessions over the coming months.

As our Summer Exams begin, we would like to wish our Year 11 students taking exams the best of luck. We are supporting our students by providing Revision Breakfasts each morning and Masterclasses for them the one to two days prior to their exam.

This week we launched our new Flag Amercian Football Club and we had an amazing turnout of students!

Mr Street and Mr Perrins led the session by showcasing gameplay, training drills and highlighting the rules while explaining the rich history of the sport.

Traditionally, the celebrations today would include dancing around the maypole and crowning a May Queen🌺.  Throughout the years, various villages within Bedfordshire have participated in this tradition, showcasing the rich festivities and deep-rooted history.

Lincroft are looking to start up their own American Football Flag Team for the Summer Term!
Training will be open to Years 9 and 10, but if you are a fan of American football training begins Monday 29th April after school running till 4.45 down on the sports field.

I was very excited to get into the Lincroft Academy new building today with Vice Principal Mrs Attreed to plan further for how the building will operate with students inside. Our new dining hall and performing arts studio are almost complete!

Our Meridian Trust Asst. Director of SEND, Amy Wright, & Lincroft Academy ARC Leader, Ben Barry, are delivering National Autistic Society Teen Life to bring parents/carers together to share information, experiences & ideas (and biscuits!). A very valuable 6 week course.
