The Bishop Chair underscored the importance of Synodality (Working Together), Lay Empowerment and Collaboration, Servant Leadership, Unity, Diversity and Collaboration (Skills Exchange), Deepening our relationship with God and Collective Ownership of the Church.

The Guild is currently working on several initiatives including Legal Aid Clinics, the Bills Watch Committee to assist the Church with informed legal views regarding Bills of Parliament and other important matters of the law, the Social Welfare Desk.
