Super behind on my QuePasaHSIs episodes but I loved marla franco’s reflection on doing HSI work with our ancestors’ conocimiento guiding us. “I am the work and the work is me” has never felt more real in the current context of education. #smallbutmighty
Stayed up late watching #SB17 committee hearing and so many testimonies 👏. TX is fortunate to have Dr. Mary E. Gonzalez asking the hard questions and challenging the “we’re still gonna do the work” mindset. Language matters and belonging matters. No part of this bill is reasonable.
