Congrats to Katie Baker and her remarkable accomplishment this evening. I've know her since she was a little girl and I always knew this moment would happen. She has two of the best parents in the world who are also amazing coaches and great friends. More greatness ahead!!

Amanda Orsburn (1997) is the all-time leading scorer in SHS history (1,585 pts.). She also ranks 8th on the LTC list of girls scoring greats. Go get that mark in your senior year Katie. I have NO doubt you will reach it with a full season ahead of you!!

I don't tweet much but for this I will. From maybe the best high school softball coach I've ever covered to one of finest prep softball stars I ever did as well, kudos to you Lyda!! You've made me, your former coach and one of my best friends in this world VERY proud!!
