Great to see GID at WHS and even better to be a part of it. Students were superb. Thanks Mr. McIntyre, WHS Library , and all GID teachers. Keep opening minds and stimulating curiosity!

Sometimes, kids make bad choices… but it doesn’t make them a bad kid. I hope we communicate that message to our students. Tomorrow is a new day!

Great teachers make it look easy… but they actually work really hard at it. Greatness never comes without commitment and sacrifice.

We can’t ever become so professional that we become callous to what kids deal with. It’s great when educators hold on to a tender heart.

A lovely illustration of why “school readiness” must have as much to do with schools being ready for children as with children being ready for school.

One of my favorite parts of elementary school was when a teacher or the librarian read a book to us using all the proper punctuation and inflections. It made the books come alive. Like Where The Wild Things Are. What was one of your favorite books they read?
