We had so much fun trying our hand at Book Spine Poetry with our first-year pupils that even Academy Staff got drawn into it! This is Mrs BM's attempt:

Kicking off the Halloween mood in Alford Academy with Halloween Book Tasting sessions for our first year pupils. Our students created their own Halloween Bistro menus by choosing books from Mystery, Thriller, Horror, Fantasy and Dystopia genres.

Our Book Spine Poetry classes proved to be a roaring success! We have a display of all the beautiful poems down in our library.
