Our resident L&Y ‘Pug’ has had a makeover! Now resplendent in LMS livery which hasn't been seen on this class since the 1940s, 11243 will feature on a couple of shunting demonstration days in March at Bury (dates tbc) before touring the country!

With Hudswell 4002’s bodywork and repaint last year the interior was always on the list of things to do - So spent some time giving the cab the same much needed treatment, painted, varnished window frames, pipework picked out etc. #heritage #preservation #hudswell #painting

Sentinel No. 7232 “Ann” will be featuring this Saturday and Sunday (11th/12th March) during our Flying Scotsman event giving shunting demonstrations with various wagons and scenarios in the Goods Yard outside Bury Transport Museum between approximately 10.00 and 16.00.

A fantastic day! Ann getting lots of interest from punters. Dragging 100 tons from C&W yard to Castlecroft was just superb, superheating and enjoying every minute of it. Nice addition to have the Scammell heading out of the museum too, same again tomorrow East Lancashire Railway #heritage
