In 2022. I ran the new musical theatre writing course at RCSSD. Two of the writers Anne McCall and Marcia Vidal Nolte were paired with Leo Elso and together wrote an amazing 15 minute musical. A rock zombie version of Romeo and Juliet.

Time's a funny thing, isn't it The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button? Reading my review of Southwark Playhouse run makes me more happy its West End run is actually happening because I knew I watched something special back then - it proves the best new musicals on now are the ones that took the time to grow.
