SHOUT! At 12.55am this morning, our volunteer crew were tasked to help evacuate residents in the Rope Walk and Ferry Road area of Littlehampton who were affected by flooding after the River Arun burst its banks. Our thoughts are with all those affected.

SOUND ON! Watch the moment Wolf the dog was rescued by Littlehampton RNLI.

Wolf fell into the River Arun at 10pm on 17 March. His owner called the Coastguard who tasked us into immediate action. Our volunteer crew found Wolf and reunited him with his owner.

They will be walking from #Worthing to #BognorRegis on Monday, passing Littlehampton RNLI.

SHOUT! Earlier today, our volunteer crew on our Renee Sherman lifeboat were tasked to reports of a surfer in difficulty. Luckily, the surfer was safe and well and no action was needed.

We were delighted to welcome Andrew Bliss QPM, the High Sheriff of West Sussex, to the boathouse last week where our volunteer crew members were able to explain some of the details of how Littlehampton RNLI Lifeboat Station saves lives at sea. The RNLI, 200 years and counting.

SHOUT! At 10pm last night, our volunteer crew on Ray of Hope rescued a dog who had accidentally entered the River Arun close to the entrance of Littlehampton Harbour. Our crew swiftly took the dog back to the lifeboat station, where it was reunited with its owner.

It was wonderful to witness five of your local RNLI volunteers sign the RNLI 200 commemoration scroll when it visited Littlehampton RNLI Lifeboat Station this afternoon. Thank you to all those who came along and made it such a special occasion.

When you're an orange box containing such a precious cargo you get your very own van! Tomorrow Saturday 16 March ~1.30pm we will welcome the scroll that is being signed by members of the RNLI at 2pm. We will be here to show you around the boats at Littlehampton Lifeboat Station.
