I visited Julian Assange in prison this week with Jeremy Corbyn. It reaffirmed my anger at the injustice: 5 years in Belmarsh when his only crime was to tell the truth. It's outragous that our govt panders to the US extradition demand. All good people must fight for his release.

End this unbelievable injustice. Free Julian Assange.

What's happening in Gaza is a crime against humanity. We should not be bullied into silence. The atrocity committed by Hamas is no justification for punishing Palestinian civilians who've suffered too long. Our political leaders should hang their heads in shame. STOP THIS TRAGEDY

I am ecstatic that Julian is free. When I visited him in prison I found a man of courage who had been treated despicably. We will never forget the injustice. Let’s now celebrate his freedom by taking inspiration from his example of speaking truth to power, no matter how mighty.
