Not disputing any of this but, as criminal barrister turned family barrister, it’s odd isn’t it that judges decide facts in our family cases where you won’t lose your liberty but could lose seeing your kid.

I’m sure many of us over 20 years call could give examples of things that now absolutely would not be tolerated but were just ‘one of those things’ in the past.

One day you’re arguing over £3 million and the next you’re chucking yourself around a pole in a room full of feathers. #barristers like clients are not all the same 😂 #christmas feathers workshop. I’ll be finding feathers for weeks 😂

The question is whether they are contracted to produce defendants at 9/930 ready for a 10am start, or simply to produce the defendant, even if that means they arrive at 3pm. Late arrivals and non production is costing the tax payer A LOT of money.
