Those Champions League prices from #AVFC are tone deaf in the current climate and when coupled with the dramatic rises in season ticket and ticket prices over the last few years. Absolutely shameful. Villa fans in the main don’t live in London, they don’t get London salaries.

There will have been Villa fans who’ve followed them through thick and thin across decades who now won’t be able to afford tickets to this. We all know the game is dictated by money now but this is such an extreme example. Utterly shambolic.

Aston Villa have to generate money for PSR, signings and wages etc, but their #UCL ticketing strategy is iniquitous. Some games are £1 a minute. A lot of clubs raise ticket prices atm but this looks sheer opportunistic greed. It will alienate loyal fans who’ve been behind the
