Students took on the role of disease detectives to investigate a disease “outbreak” while learning the basics of epidemiology & public health during #CMHFDiscoveryDay McGill Medicine and Health Sciences McGill EBOH
Had a wonderful time talking to 20 high school students from QC and ON about Epidemiology and working through some interactive outbreaks with @buajitti as a part of Canadian Medical Hall Fame Discovery Day in partnership with McGill University McGill Medicine and Health Sciences McGill School of Population and Global Health McGill EBOH! #CMHFDiscoveryDay
Very thankful to have been awarded a PhD Salary Award from the Arthritis Society Canada 🎉 I am excited to continue working on my project throughout my PhD at McGill EBOH and RI-MUHC
So from what I’ve seen, virtually all the faculty at McGill School of Population and Global Health are against McGill’s reopening plan, lack of a vaccine mandate, etc. If McGill University isn’t getting input from its own epidemiologists on how to safely implement in-person learning, I’d love to know who’s guiding them.
