Big cycle today from nr Porty to Gogarburn for a meeting and then back into town. Enjoyed my towpath cycle, used to do this every day, and seeing a few swans, this one in Wester Hailes #JoyfulEdinburghCycling
Nice to be back in the Innocent Railway Tunnel today - legs a bit out of practice but never tire of this view from the bottom #JoyfulEdinburghCycling
Different route today visiting Muirhouse and Pilton, love the cycle paths around here and the shoogly structures in the allotments in Warriston - note to self to cycle around this was more often #JoyfulEdinburghCycling
🥶 loch today & cold hands! But stopped for 2 mins to take a quick snap of the frosty water - beautiful!

One of the cool things about cycling around Edinburgh is going along roads that past me used to spend loads of time - today I cycled up the Royal Mile from the Parliament to the City Chambers and was reminiscing about 18 year old me studying at Moray House #JoyfulEdinburghCycling
Always think it’s such a cool thing that on my way to work in the city centre of Edinburgh thinking about work and my day ahead, I zoom past people hill walking on Arthur’s Seat, and wonder what they are thinking about… #JoyfulEdinburghCycling
Sometimes when I’m not rushing into town between the school run and 9am meetings (like today) I stop my bike beside the loch off Queens Drive and take a few breaths (after a quick google I now know it’s called St Margaret’s Loch) #JoyfulEdinburghCycling
Yes I’ve had bad experiences cycling around Edinburgh but I def have way more good ones - that’s probably why I still jump on my bike most days! So I thought I’d start a new # - #JoyfulEdinburghCycling and first up is this wee parade I encountered in Holyrood Park today ❤️
Thanks Emily. Loved today SO much ❤️❤️absolutely honoured to be on a panel beautifully chaired by Shabana Aslam alongside Bruce, Marlon and Mark today - brain fizzing on my train back to Edinburgh
