Yet deforestation is continuing at alarming rates.

2.4 billion women of working age do not have the same legal rights as men. Change is evident but the pace is too slow. Millions of women entering the workforce today will not see parity before their retirement! Greater sense of urgency is required.

Founding members launched the World Bank and the IMF on Dec. 27, 1944 for a post-WW2 int'l monetary system & reconstruction. Since then, WB has loaned $800bn+ to 100+ countries -> sustainable development and poverty eradication. HBD WB!
