It's been a day filled with education and awareness! From "Safer, Smarter Kids" visits with Broward County Public Schools second grade students to PACE Center for Girls and Coffee and Conversations with seniors, we're teaching personal safety from a place of fun — not fear!

GOOOOO CATS! Tonight our friends + partners the x - Florida Panthers (who won 3-1 over the Maple Leafs!!) honored Child Abuse Prevention Month with Lauren's Kids by raising awareness and making friendship bracelets for survivors...and Lauren even got to do the puck drop handoff!

The Walk in My Shoes has arrived in SW FL! It was an amazing 16-mile day on the road with our partners Project HELP and the Collier County Child Advoacy Center — with tons of moral support from the North Collier Fire Department! 👟 👟 👟

Lauren + the Walk in My Shoes team are making their way up Florida's West Coast -- today trekking through Sarasota and Bradenton to spread awareness, hope, and healing!

It's been a wonderful morning in Pasco County with students and educators from Trinity Elementary welcoming Lauren and the Walk in My Shoes crew to their school!

Yesterday we renovated the sexual assault exam room, children's area + staff space at Lakeland's Peace River Victim Services — creating safe, therapeutic dignified spaces for survivors, children + the incredible therapists who walk with them through recovery. BEFORE + AFTER!

On the move in Lakeland! Today, Lauren Book and the Walk in My Shoes team trekked 10+ miles through Polk County alongside Peace River Victim Services, Children’s Home Society, Tax Collector Joe Tedder + community advocates.

The Lauren’s Kids team is walking through Brevard County today — covering 12 miles from Satellite Beach to Indialantic! With support from the CAC of Brevard and the Women’s Center of Brevard, walkers kicked off the day with friendship bracelet-making to honor survivors.

My heart is with the Florida State University community following today’s tragic and deadly shooting. No student or educator should ever fear for their safety on campus. I am deeply grateful for the quick response of our brave first responders, and my thoughts are with the
