Our article 'The coevolutionary consequences of biodiversity change' is now available online Trends in Ecology & Evolution 🥳!
It was such a great experience to develop these ideas with Jason Tylianakis whose work has been an inspiration to me for many years.

And a nice way to end the week too. Robert Horvath version of record is now online.
Robert quantified quantified the forces acting on TEs in B. distachyon populations and found little effect of positive selection.

Great start to the week with our study on flowering time in B. distachyon published in Genetics Society of America
We found quantitative effects of the envt. on flowering-time-related traits but signs of polygenic selection at flowering time genes! More here 👇

Happy to see our article published! We combined pop. genomics with mobilome-seq to characterize how genetic/environmental factors influence LTR-RT dynamics in B. distachyon.
👏 to Michael Thieme and a big thank you to Todd Blevins for the collaboration!

News from the Anne_roulin URPP Evolution in Action ! We use #ONT long reads to profile the expression of retroTEs in natural #Arabidopsis accessions exposed to heat stress 🔥and find striking differences between individual copies in the three genetic backgrounds 👇

Here our new paper with ECOGEN Lab bsppjournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/pp… We isolated P. syringae strains from south of France and performed GWA on a A. thaliana from the north. We identified the AT5G18310 encoding ubiquitin hydrolase, a target of the AvrRpt2 P. syringae effector.
I'm excited to announce 3 post doc positions on my European Research Council (ERC) project 'Co-evolutionary consequences of biodiversity change'
