There have been so many masks required events around Seattle, but until recently I've been to sick to check them out. Today I got to go to a free visible mending class. Supplies were provided, everyone was wearing (K)N95s, and there were air purifiers. It was AMAZING.

NC mask ban bill: keep the pressure on. So far at least 2 GOP House Reps have said they will not support the bill without a health/safety exemption! (Although I'll believe them when they actually vote, the public statements are encouraging because the Senate voted on party lines)

A week ago I was thrilled to be back long-distance swimming in the Thames. Just days later I was vomiting and had high fever. I've lost 3 Kg. Recovered (almost) now but heartbroken that #wildswimming in UK comes with such risks to health. Lake or pool for me now for a while. 🤢
