Inspired by our class novel “The Owl Who’s Afraid of the Dark” we created firework pictures with the main character Plop🦉🎆

After making boats earlier this week, we were very interested in why some things floated and some did not! This afternoon we carried out an experiment… first we made predictions, and then we tested out our guesses to see if they were correct!

We went on an autumn walk and collected lots of interesting leaves, discussing changes in colours and textures 🍂

Today we used the key to unlock the magic door to…. DRAWING CLUB 🔑 Immersing P1 in the world of story! We used ‘There’s a monster in your book’ by Tom Fletcher to inspire us to create our own monsters- no escaping without the secret passcodes! Greg Bottrill
